Planned Litters

Planned Litters

We put all litters through the Early Scent Introduction (ESI) and Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS or "Super Dog") programs for Neonate Puppies. These two programs have been proven to 1. improve their adult scenting ability and 2. Five benefits have been observed in canines that were exposed to the Bio Sensor stimulation exercises.

The benefits noted were:

  1. Improved cardio vascular performance (heart rate)
  2. Stronger heart beats
  3. Stronger adrenal glands
  4. More tolerance to stress
  5. Greater resistance to disease

Here are links to those articles: (ESI) & (ENS).

We Dock tails when the pups are 1-2 days old using the banding method. We don't remove the dewclaws, there is research out there that says removing the dewclaws can cause more harm than good. Here is a very interesting article, a video of a dog playing and a dog working in the field.

Ivy/Colt Litter Due First Part of May

"Ivy" Ghostwinds Reaching for the Moon

Hips excellent, elbows - normal, eyes - normal, cardiac - normal

"Colt" Maslach wiredwest peacemaker

Hips - excellent, elbows - normal, Thyroid - normal

This is a repeat breeding that I did last fall. The pugs turned out so nice that I wanted to do this breeding again. Ivy is a sweet little hunting dog that is a couple points away from her show championship with a nice coat. Colt is a great hunting dog that is becoming a rock star in the field travel world. This spring he ran in 10 stakes and placed in 7 of those with an excellent coat. Both dogs have nice temperaments and enjoy whatever they do.
