ABOUT ME

I am an avid hunter and grew up in Southern Idaho hunting upland game, waterfowl and big game. When I am not working I can usually be found in the hills working my dogs. I enjoy spending time in the field with my dogs, and watching the dogs do what they were bred to do, and doing it well makes every hunting trip or training day a worthwhile event in my life. Nothing better than watching a dog do what it was bred to do!!

My dogs are not only my hunting companions, but an important part of my life. They are not kennel dogs--they are with me in my home and often accompany me when I'm doing most everything.

I spent many years working, training and trialing border collies, and I have found German Wirehaired Pointers to be an equally intelligent breed.
